SUMMARY:2019 Georgia Chamber Congressional Luncheon
DESCRIPTION:The Georgia Chamber's annual Congressional Luncheon brings together over 2\,000 business leaders\, state and federal elected officials\, and community champions. Hosted each year in Macon\, attendees have the opportunity to hear directly from members of Georgia's congressional delegation on policy and legislation that directly impacts our state's business climate.\n\n\n\nFor the second year in-a-row\, free breakout sessions will be held after Congressional Luncheon where members of Congress will participate in panel discussions focusing on infrastructure and cyber defense in Georgia.\nInfrastructure:\n\nGeorgia businesses depend on infrastructure to move their product throughout the state. It is critical our infrastructure system is maintained to keep pace with current needs\, all with an eye to the evolving technologies that will be critical in the future. Members of Congress will share what to expect in upcoming infrastructure discussions in Washington as well as how they are advocating for our State's companies and communities.\n\nCyber Defense:\n\nMajor data breaches seem to be an everyday occurrence\, with both corporations and different levels of government being under constant threat.
